I have no idea how possible any of these to implement or the willingness Tibs is to support them. But they do sound really neat, and I thought it'd be fun = ]

I went on the MC forums to look at some cool mods, what do you guys think of these? :

Floodgate Beta 1.2_01v2
Floodgate block can be used as either a floodgate, allowing toggle-able water and lava falls, or as a trapdoor. When you place the floodgate control block, it will place a gate in front of the control block in the direction you are facing.

Death Chest Beta 1.2
When you die, if you have a chest in your inventory, it will be placed where you die, or in the closest available spot. The chest will be filled with as many items as possible. Items stored in the crafting slot are still lost, as usual, and any excess that won't fit in the chest will be dropped.

More Stackables Beta 1.2_01
This mod makes food stackable up to 16 in stack, saddles, doors, and signs up to 8 in a stack, minecarts and boats up to 4 in a stack. When stacked, food and buckets are unusable, however, everything else is.

Light Sensor Beta 1.2
The Light Sensor mod adds a new craftable block, that is a new input for redstone mechanisms. It turns on if it is hit with a 12 light levels.

Spawner GUI Beta 1.2
Adds a GUI to all mob spawners, that will allow you to pick what mob to spawn. I also reallowed mining spawners. You can disable spawners with redstone as well.

Most of these are also client mods for content support, which cuts half of our userbase out from the get-go for not knowing how to do that.

    • I like the idea behind the floodgate block but implementing it successfully requires client mods.
    • I don't support Death Chest AT ALL. If you died it's your fault, deal with it.
    • I understand why people want more minecarts in one stack and things like that, but I don't care enough to say that I'd support it - I just don't waste inventory space on stupid shit and it usually turns out ok.
    • Light Sensor is an amazing idea but impossible to implement without client mods if it is to be done properly.
    • Mob Spawner GUI is a client mod otherwise I'd support it 100%.
    • Fuck the grappling hook we already have /goto.
    • Everything in utility is dumb, save the scuba gear, but I would rather not be able to breathe underwater so that I do not build structures that kick my ass when hostile water mobs are implemented.
    • All of the cool recipes sound like noob-fixes for things that are supposed to be hard to get, so I hope none of those get implemented.

    any death mods are out until death bug is fixed, when you die, you die some 30 times.
